Gülten Dost holds a master’s degree in Public Law from Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir, Turkey, and intends to continue her academic studies through a doctorate in the area of Health.
 
She started her professional life as an internship at an international corporation during her high school years and has continued working since. She developed herself further by taking effective positions at the same firm after graduation. She served as a management representative responsible for setting up a Total Quality Management System at another firm and internal auditor for the ISO 14001 Environmental Management / 9001 Total Quality Management / 18001 Occupational Health and Safety systems. She enabled and contributed to periodic health examinations, follow up of occupational health problems, reporting of risk analyses and the establishment of planning and procedures.
 
She continued her career in New York, USA, where she went to develop international experience by conducting work on the operation of health and treatment systems, provision from health services and benefits and also in childbirth procedures in the USA. Upon returning to Turkey, she worked as a Patient Relations Representative at a private hospital. Accordingly she has gained valuable know-how on crucial health issues such as patient-doctor relationship systems, linking the right patients to the right doctors and understanding and emphaticizing with patient psychology.
 
She founded DOSTHEALTH TREATMENT AND TOURISM to institutionalize her diverse knowledge and professional experiences. She is proficient English and Italian.
